Mistika Bridge

 

Open network collaboration can make or break creativity, as well as define costs and profitability. The problem for many post-production on-line systems is such open connectivity can be both difficult, due to constraints of proprietary hardware, or expensive, or both.

 

Mistika Bridge allows connect any third-party system to Mistika’s open storage via a SAN bridge, enabling seamless collaboration across multiple systems, cheaply and easily.

 

Mistika Bridge is a high performance NAS server that mounts the Mistika open storage SAN volumes, and exports the contents to a standard Ethernet network, enabling simple access for third parts systems that do not require dedicated high bandwidth direct access to the SAN. Multiple SAN Bridges can be added for high scalability with no bottlenecks at any point.

 

Each Mistika Bridge is a single SAN connection, so requires a single SAN license, but on the Ethernet side of the bridge can connect to as many systems as required, maximising workflows while minimising costs.
