Mistika Live

 

Mistika Live is a turnkey Mistika system with SDI I/O for on set production application, especially, although not exclusively, for use with Stereoscopic 3D productions.

 

Mistika Live enables the analysis of camera signals, apply real-time Stereo corrections and other real-time effects, and capture shots to be reviewed on set (in compressed formats to limit storage size and maximise capacity when using internal storage). All the required hardware is included with the Mistika Live system.

 

Mistika Live is the ultimate production-based work station, enabling creative decisions to be made in real-time within a live broadcast environment. Prepare captured footage for later post production. Includes application of Mistika’s feature-set, on-location, in real-time to live camera feeds for real-time correction & playback, plus creative on-set previews & pre-visualisation of effects.

 

Stereo 3D is one of the most talked about developments in film and broadcast, and Mistika Live’s Stereo 3D tools, timeline and workflow simplify and speed up the inherently complex aspect of Stereo 3D production, whilst making the creative processes far more intuitive, removing as many opportunities for errors as possible.

 

A very unique capability of Mistika Live is integration with 3ality Technica Stereo 3D camera rigs for automatic zoom matching of both camera lenses.

 

 

Using zoom lenses in Stereo 3D rigs is fraught with problems as tracking the zoom across both lenses is next to impossible. Mistika Live overcomes these problems by quickly tracking both lenses throughout their range, and generating a zoom error map that is then used to off-set each lens zoom value to ensure correct zoom tracking.
