Chris has spent his entire career working at the leading edge of computers in design and media, from research at the Royal College of Art in the early 1980s to cutting edge production workflows in the 2010s. His discerning eye for detail and his ability to think creatively about real-world solutions has led him to help innovate products in paint (Matador), compositing (Advance and Cineon), automatic camera tracking (2d3), colour grading & restoration (Nucoda, Phoenix & Precision) and workflows (Storm, Marquis). He has worked in senior positions both with the biggest media players and with startups. He has a Masters in Design from the Royal College of Art and an MBA from Cranfield University. His passion for innovation remains undimmed.
“It is so exciting to work with products in film and television that have the potential to revolutionise the way we work with media,” said Chris Steele and added “SGO’s Mistika Technology products do just that, and their latest Mistika Workflows is not only incredibly powerful and flexible, it is easy to use and understand. I am really looking forward to working with Miguel, Geoff and the team in Madrid.”
