What error do you get? Please open a support ticket sending that information here: http://support.sgo.es/helpdesk/tickets we will attend your case from there.
After updating to the release 8.8.5 (find it here), try the next:
– Open the SGO Activation tool and click on Deactivate.
– Get the original activation code (find it in the shop order or here: https://www.sgo.es/my-account/activation-codes/ ) and activate the product again.
– Restart the system.
– Launch Mistika again.
Is it works?
Looking forward to hearing from you,
One of our developers have created a Preset creation protocol. If you are able to follow the next, we could create a perfect preset for you rig. Send please a clip of every single camera of a scene complying the next:
Scene for Calibration
First, try to obtain a suitable scene for the calibration:
- Nothing and nobody close to the camera, at least 3 meters.
- A street with buildings and trees, squares, parking lots.
- Large halls, like sports venues, with structured ceiling, with camera in the open.
- Public garage with no cars or columns at less than 3 meters
If a calibration shot can not be obtained, choose the shot most fitting the above
Optional, specially convenient for cameras with little overlap: Ask for a static scene, and two shots, second with the rig rotated half its camera spacing: Means if they are 4 cameras at the horizont at 90 degrees, rotate the rig 45 degrees. This provides apparent doubling of number of cameras and produces better lens distortion detection.
Notice that if a camera allows setting the image ratio at different values, like Gopro that can record both 4:3 and 16:9, settings for both resolutions may be needed. Recording larger image is always better but some customers used 16:9 ratio apparently.
Did you sync the audio in Mistika before sending the images to PtGui? This step is very important in order to stitch your media properly. If doing that you still have a wrong behaviour, please send 1 sample (including original media files and preset) to email@example.com and an expert will check it.
About how to save a stitching as a preset, you can easily do that doing right click on the clip stach and you will be able to see ‘save preset’ option.
Could you please send to http://support.sgo.es/helpdesk/tickets a frame in sync of every single camera? I have a preset created for a similar rig and I would like to test it before provide it to you.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
I really understand what you mean. Relink tool is included in the roadmap. I hope you can see this feature in the software very soon.
I believe your answer is here: https://www.sgo.es/forums/topic/how-to-connect-to-a-media-file/
Could you please open a Support Ticket with your inquiry? They’ll include your request as a feature request! http://support.sgo.es/helpdesk/tickets
I am afraid a render tab is an option available just for the full license. You can use the whole tool but rendering is a limitation of Eval license. If you are interested in see the SGO plans, here you can find all the information: https://www.sgo.es/vr-plans/

I have seen your email via support asking the same issue. I will answer here and this maybe will help to other users. First of all, sorry for do not attach the preset. I thougth I did it but, nop ;( Ghosting can easily removed adding some edges point. If you increase the Stitch Feather with OF ON, you will need to use more edge points. In my last job with Ozo I found a perfect combination between Feather with OF and edge points. The attached preset show you how to fix it in the ceiling. Following that example you can continue adding some more. When adding an edge point Stereo, you have to select the Left camera and then place it where you find some gosthing. It is a very detailed job, but I am afraid we cannot get the best out of this rig.
(The forum does not allow attach unzipped files…. that’s the reason I could not attach the preset. I am sorry)
You must be logged in to access attached files.
I’m afraid that we are having some technical difficulties with our servers here and that’s what probably is preventing your user area from working properly. We are working hard to try to solve them asap.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

I have tried your footage and I have created a preset with OF Off with Stitch Feather 50%. Here it is how it works in my test:
After modifying the position improving Offset and angles, I just have added 1 edge point in camera #5 (in the ceiling) because OF did not work properly. If you turn on OF with Stitch Feather 50%, you would not see occlusion objects and the result will be like the next image:
I hope it helps!
If you do not know how to create a preset we could help! Just sent to firstname.lastname@example.org a clip of every single camera.
What is the problem do you have? Could you please be more specific? Are you using a full license PtGui? In case not, please use Hugin, the license is free.
Mistika library does not contain a preset for Sony a7SII. I am afraid you must to create it using PtGui. If you have any question after watching the tutorial for creating a preset using PtGui, please let us know. We’ll try to help you! check out our Vimeo channel: https://vimeo.com/channels/1242739
