Industry-adopted stitching software Mistika VR to support Insta 360 Pro 2, PTGUI 11 & Autopano Giga

SGO has announced a new release of globally-endorsed Mistika VR, supporting the new Insta 360 Pro 2 camera, the latest version of PTGUI 11 and Kolor Autopano Giga file import. These were some of the most voted features in a recent Mistika VR R&D Survey 2018 held among its users last month.

“We take feedback very seriously as it is the key to successfully making Mistika Technology even better every day. I want to thank all Mistika VR users who took part in this recent R&D Survey for the truly overwhelming response received,” said Miguel Angel Doncel, CEO at SGO. The Open Beta is already available to all Mistika VR users at no additional cost.

Mistika VR is now able to stitch Insta360 Pro 2 footage at the highest level of precision due to newly incorporated Insta360 Pro 2 calibration libraries. This new tool facilitates the selection of a perfect calibration frame with the results being immediately applied in Mistika VR.

This latest release enables PT GUI 11 support, implementing a new ‘fisheye factor parameter’. Additionally, Mistika VR can now open Autopano Giga files with a set of frames exported and read calibration data from original Autopano files.

In addition, there are licensing stability upgrades and improvements in the Project Settings Editor.
