SGO is set to introduce a new natively integrated workflow concept at this year’s NAB and launch the first phase of products as part of the company’s evolutionary growth which include ‘Mistika VR’ and ‘Mistika Insight’.
In partnership with Boris FX, SGO confirms integration of the popular titling and motion graphics plug-in, Boris Graffiti, with Mamba FX V2.5 for Windows. Mac and Linux are to follow suit.
Boris FX is a prominent developer of visual effects, titling, video editing, and workflow tools for broadcast, post-production, and film professionals. Boris FX products have grown to serve over a million artists worldwide.
Mamba FX is a high performance, node-based compositing platform which comes with a large range of filters and effects. These can be combined to create an infinite variety of looks and styles. Adding these effects to the very flexible Boris Graffiti, gives creative artists the possibilities to produce limitless styles of text and graphics.
SGO’s CEO Miguel Angel Doncel affirms, “We are delighted to have a solid relationship with Boris FX. I strongly believe that the way to provide our customers with the most innovative technology and workflows is to create solutions in tandem with leading companies. This joint venture is a great example of this.”
“We are very excited to be working in collaboration with SGO”, says Ross Shain, Chief Marketing Officer of Boris FX / Imagineer. “Mamba FX is a powerful visual effects platform, so it makes perfect sense for Boris FX and SGO to work together and integrate Boris Graffiti, our 3D titling and animation engine. Boris FX is well known for quality tiling tools and the Mamba FX community will surely appreciate the Graffiti toolset. The collaboration will bring the capability to design and create advanced 2D/3D motion graphics and title animations directly inside of Mamba FX.”
SGO also announced at IBC that Mamba FX customers will receive a free upgrade to the new version 2.5 of Mamba FX which will also include Graffiti at no cost (offer currently available for Windows only, from October 2015).
